Dia de los Muertos
Edwin says `Feliz Dia de los Muertos!`
I say `Happy Halloween!` But secretely I loved Dia de los Muertos so much. We went to the cemetary and took flowers to his grandmothers grave. Unfortunately we never found it, but we did find a grave with no flowers and donated them to a woman who died in 1830. Then we said a prayer for her soul.
It`s a beautiful holiday. Everyone brings beautiful flowers to their dead loved ones and then sits around the tombs, which are more like little houses, and sings hymns, traditional songs, and they eat tamales and candied pumpkin...
In the night children go asking for candy, but instead of trick or treat they say `Pumpkin, Auntie!!!` and then they recieve, instead of snickers bars, candied pumpkin, tamales, peanuts, and all kinds of dried candy fruits, which they carry around in a big bowl, but mostly just eat during they time they are walking around at night.
Thats all for now, off to San Cristobal....

Oh my G. Edwin has lost so much weight. He looks like a teenager. With a not at all expectedly tiny neck.
Also, where's the sanitation in open-air transportation of non-wrapped candied organic matter, huh?
yes it's true, Edwin is disappearing before our eyes....yay for halloween!
Edwin looks absolutely amazing!!! He does look like a teenager! Tell him i said he looks really healthy!! I can't wait to see him.
The cemetary there is really neat!!! Very diferent than US right!
